The Power of Three

Using an idea conceived by a Orange County member and developed by the LDS Orange County Area Authority (with their permission) Green Valley Stake introduces the Power of Three program.  The Power of Three encourages members to prepare based upon real needs during the first three minutes, hours, days and months of an emergency event.  It is simple to understand and apply.

Group Bulk Purchase Cannery Program

Green Valley Stake encourages member to participate in a Group Bulk Purchase Cannery Program, which allows members to purchase products on a monthly basis and distribute to their members. Program includes and interactive website with over 100 recipes and cooking classes to demonstrate how to use the products. This is an excellent way to incrementally build your food storage one month at a time and with your own budget requirements. Ham Radio Training

Dixie Amateur  Radio Club offers regular Ham Radio training classes, including testing by qualified ARRL examiners. The Stake can also assist and train your unit emergency communications members with regular radio communication nets. See your stake / ward communications representative.
